Bloodshot director David S.F. Wilson has lined up his subsequent venture with Sony Footage, an adaptation of the Daniel Suarez sci-fi thriller novel Inflow, reviews Deadline.
“The e book tells an enormous scale sci-fi story in a futuristic setting, centered on a protagonist who’s a particle physicist perfecting a world-changing invention when his lab is infiltrated by terrorists. He’s held by a clandestine U.S. authorities division and when he refuses a proposal to work with them, jail and torture by the hands of a man-made intelligence inquisitor awaits. He should escape and thwart what the federal government is doing.”
Zak Olkewicz is adapting the e book, which gained the Prometheus Award. Escape Artists’ Todd Black, Steve Tisch, Jason Blumenthal and Tony Shaw will produce.
Wilson is coming off the Vin Diesel sci-tale Bloodshot, which Sony launched simply as theaters have been starting to close down and which is doing brisk enterprise in VOD, notes the positioning.
